The Parish of Bedwellty and New Tredegar
helping transform neighbourhoods, becoming more like Christ
1st & 3rd Sunday – St Sannan’s Church, Bedwellty NP12 OBD
2nd & 4th Sunday – St Peter’s Church, AberbargoedCF81 9FF
A traditional yet relaxed act of worship. Everyone is welcome. We have a special time of prayer for young people and their families and a themed activity for children during the service each week.
We are a wide variety of people of all ages and backgrounds. We are blessed with three church buildings and some of us prefer one of these to the others. We understand that when we meet together to listen to the word of God, and to break bread and share wine together at communion, we are expressing our unity in Christ. So it’s really important that there is a fixed point in the week when we all meet together. Currently this is at 10.30 a.m. on a Sunday morning and alternates between
St Peter's Church in Aberbargoed and St Sannan’s Church at Bedwellty.
at White Rose Primary School, New Tredegar, while St Dingat's Church is being repaired and renovated,
Church for children and adults to enjoy together. At this popular monthly gathering, we start with a range of craft activities and games which help us explore the theme for the day. We then gather together for a story and singing and the afternoon is rounded off by sharing a meal together.
Tue, Wed, Thur at 8 a.m. – Morning Prayer at St Sannan’s Church, Bedwellty NP12 OBD
